I have an iPhone but don’t really use it to entertain my kids during dinner. No judgement here. I totally understand that sometimes it’s the only thing that will keep that kid in place for the extra minutes you need to finish your meal, talk to your friends, have a conversation that doesn’t involve diapers or sleep or pre-school. In our family, we engage with our kids as long as we can with conversation and whatever toys we have on us then we book it out before a disaster happens. What do *you* think? What are the benefits and drawbacks of using that smartphone during dinner?
