I’ve been taking photos of lots of different things lately. I’m learning from and drawing inspiration from so many people and images that I see. My style and photographic interests are definitely being shaped by the people I meet. However, I’ve come to realize that there is one thing I still love more than any other. I love shooting kids and I love shooting families. I love engaging with them and finding some kind of spark that makes for a good image. I love the interaction of families and trying to find a way to show that love and the often times complex relationships between family members in a photo. It may be fun to chase a sunset but for me it’s even more fun to chase a kid around with a camera.
