Photography Camp

After a successful trial run in the summer of 2019, I’m opening up photography camp for all participants ages 7 and up next summer 2020!

UPDATE: Postponed for 2020 and aiming for 2021!

Camp sessions will cover a 2 week period Monday through Friday. Each camp day will consist of a photography lesson with a field trip tailored to practice the day’s lesson. Campers will receive daily instruction and feedback on the art of photography including: Story telling, Composition, Color, Subjects, Framing, Motion Blur, etc. We will also work on art projects like Sunprints, Portrait Joiners, Multiplicity shots, etc.

Campers see San Francisco in a whole new light! Past field trips included: Clarion Alley, Botanical Gardens, Pier 39, Sutro Bath Ruins, Lands End, Camera Obscura, Union Square, Embarcadero Center, Ferry Building, Pier 24 Photography, City Hall, and Chinatown.

Campers will receive basic technical help with their cameras and learn best practices when taking photos.

Each camper will work with their own camera. Any digital camera is welcome. Professional DSLRs to cell phones can all be used for this camp.

Please contact me for more information, to follow along as I finalize plans, and to be added to the priority list when signups are open to the public. Please include a note if you are interested in adult photography camp (group lessons) as well.
